Interaktive Auswahlhilfe für AP Tech Druckminderer

Interactive selection guide for AP Tech pressure regulators

A suitable pressure reducer (also known as a regulator) is essential for any gas supply, because a constant and precisely adjustable pressure is just as important as selecting the right gas.

Regardless of whether you use inert, toxic, corrosive or high-purity gases: With us you will find the right regulator for your needs – with our interactive selection guide you will get a good overview of which models are suitable for which applications.

How a pressure reducer works

The name says it all: A pressure reducer reduces the pressure in a gas-filled line to exactly the level that is ultimately required in the respective application. This reduction can take place in one step, but it is usually a two-stage process in which two pressure reducers are used in series.

Applications of AP Tech pressure reducers

AP Tech (Advanced Pressure Technology) was founded in the USA in 1987 and within just a few years has become the leading supplier of pressure regulators and valves that are used in many different areas. SMC acquired AP Tech in 2007 but has retained the original name.

AP Tech products are particularly suitable for the following industries:

  • Semiconductors and general electronics
  • Photovoltaic
  • fiberglass manufacturing
  • aviation
  • automobile
  • petrochemicals
  • biotechnology
  • pharmacy
  • analytics

Controllers for general and clean room applications

Our AK controllers meet a wide variety of requirements in analytical, technical, food technology and medical applications. Depending on the model, AK regulators are suitable for pressure ranges up to 69 MPa (690 bar).

Regulators of the AP and AZ series were developed for operation with a wide variety of ultrapure gases in the semiconductor and electronics industries. Each product in this series is manufactured, tested and packaged under clean room conditions. AP and AZ controllers can be used for pressure ranges up to 31 MPa (310 bar).
